SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Huntington Hotel Group showed a devotion to detail in developing their San Diego Airport/Liberty Station Courtyard by Marriott. The site chosen for this property is located in a historic district of San Diego, and with that came many confining building regulations and requirements. The efficiency with which Huntington overcame the obstacles in both construction and operation is what led to this property receiving the 2008 Courtyard Opening Hotel of the Year Award. Before the official opening of the hotel, the Huntington team developed a Vision Statement that bound each associate to guaranteeing that guest experiences would be of the highest quality. Furthermore, Huntington had also envisioned that this hotel would make a difference in its community and made sure of this by raising $3,000 for the San Diego Food Bank.
